Accomodation and Prices

UAE is mainly known by luxuries Dubai and Abu Dhabi Emirates. There are, however, other 5 smaller Emirates in the country. With 7 Emirates the country is still small and you can visit all 7 emirates within 1-2 days. The other 5 Emirates are: Sharjah, Ajman, Fujeirah, Ras Al Khaima and Umm Al Quwain.

We will live and train in Ajman Emirate. It is the smallest emirate between Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain, only 40 km away from Dubai.

There are different accommodation options to choose from. You can have all meals at the hotel or may chose to have lunch or dinner outside. There are a number of different cafes and restaurants along Ajman Corniche. Unlike Dubai where you mainly find luxury and expensive food & drink points especially along the beach, in Ajman you will find same local delicates at a much wider price range. Also, unlike Dubai, Abu Dhabi and nearby, Sharjah, where consumption of alcohol is prohibited (apart from expensive licensed hotel bars and restaurants in Dubai & Abu Dhabi and completely prohibited in ‘dry’ Sharjah), Ajman has no any restrictions.

The hotel, Wyndham Gardens, is a brand new hotel located directly on the Corniche and provides private beach access. Each guest room boasts sea views and features free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, mini-refrigerator.  There are fitness center, outdoor pool, hot tub, and rejuvenating spa with both men’s and women’s saunas in the hotel.

How to get there

Ajman is conveniently located near five international airports – Sharjah, Dubai DXB, Dubai Al Maktum (DWC), Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah – which connect the emirate to hundreds of destinations across the world. Construction of Ajman’s own airport is currently in the planning stages. Ajman International Airport, in the Al Manama region east of the city, is expected to welcome its first flight in 2019.

The nearest airports are:

• Sharjah – 20 km
• Dubai International (DXB) – 30 km
• Dubai Al Maktum (DWC) – 85 km
• Ras Al Khaima – 70 km
• Abu Dhabi – 160 km

Dubai Al Maktum airport is the newest modern airport and currently served by only few airlines. One of them is Wizzair, the European low cost airline. Wizzair fly to Dubai DWC Airport from Sofia, Budapest, Katowice, Bucharest & Cluj-Napoca (Romania).

Taxi cost from DWC to Ajman is around 200 AED.

Ukranian Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, Flydubai and Air Arabia can also provide easy low cost access to UAE.
