Beach volleyball is a popular sport in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and our volleyball academy is proud to offer top-notch training programs and opportunities for players of all levels. Our beach volleyball training programs focus on developing the unique skills required for this exciting and challenging sport, including footwork, ball control, and adapting to the changing sand conditions. We offer training sessions at a variety of beautiful beach locations throughout the region, allowing our players to experience the thrill of playing in a truly unique environment. In addition to our training programs, we also organize beach volleyball tournaments and leagues, giving our players the opportunity to compete and showcase their skills against other talented athletes. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced beach volleyball player, our academy is dedicated to providing the resources and support your need to succeed in beach volleyball in Dubai and beach volleyball in Abu Dhabi.

We organise a variety of tournaments throughout a year.
Tournaments designed for all level and categories of play: men, women, mixed, 2v2, 4v4, 6v6 from one day tournaments to two month leagues.

Trainings
At RIO volleyball academy, we are proud to offer some of the best beach volleyball trainings in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Our experienced coaches are experts in the sport and have designed training programs that are specifically tailored to the unique demands of playing on sand. We focus on developing the skills required to succeed in this exciting and challenging sport. From footwork to ball control to teamwork and wind control, our trainings are designed to help players of all levels improve their technique and performance on the sand.
- Starter
Players who are compete novice to the sport with no experience or some experience back at school or have under 1 year playing experience. Training focus is on the basic skills and fundamental athletic movements on the sand in fun and fast-paced learning environment
Book now - Improver
Players who have been playing regularly over 2 years, understand the game and can consistently demonstrate the technique for key skills. A simple test to take: 20 controlled digs to yourself, 20 digs with a partner, 5 out of 10 attacks over the net, 5 out of 10 overhand serves, simple peppering
Book now - Intermediate
Players who have been playing regularly over 5 years and able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of beach volleyball: different attacking shots, setting technique, defence and blocking system, serving options. Players are able to compete in tournaments. Basic knowledge of wind control tactics

Players who have over 10 years of experience of regular playing and compete in high level tournaments. Players will have an in depth understanding of tactics and be able to execute consistently in any weather conditions, for example playing consistently in wind and ability to adjust the game according to the wind direction

Social Games
Our social beach volleyball sessions are perfect for players who want to enjoy the sport in a relaxed and friendly environment. These sessions are open to players of all skill levels, and are designed to be a fun and casual way to stay active and improve your volleyball skills. We organize social beach volleyball at some of the most beautiful beach locations in the region, and we encourage players to bring their friends and family to join in on the fun. It’s the perfect opportunity to get involved in the volleyball community and enjoy the sport in a relaxed and inclusive setting.
Tournaments
RIO volleyball academy is proud to organize and host a variety of beach volleyball tournaments throughout the year. These tournaments are open to players of all skill levels and are a great opportunity to showcase your skills and compete against other talented athletes. Our tournaments are organized in different formats, including doubles, triples, and co-ed, to accommodate a wide range of players and styles. We also offer different categories based on age and skill level, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate and compete at their own level.
